Prva radionica za izradu strateškog dokumenta
14. augusta 2007. god. održana je 1. radionica za izradu strateškog dokumenta „Smjernice za promociju turističkih potencijala grada Tuzle“ u okviru projekta CulTuRe. Učesnici radionice su bili predstavnici zainteresiranih aktera identificiranih u toku prve faze projekta (vijećnici Općinskog vijeća, općinski službenici, Ministar za turizam, trgovinu i saobraćaj Tuzlanskog kantona, Predsjednik Turističke zajednice TK, predstavnici muzeja, medija, hotelijera i nevladinih organizacija sa područja Tuzle i dr.).

Prva radionica je bila prilika za iniciranje SWOT analize u sektoru turizma u gradu Tuzli. Rezultati i dalji tok pripreme za izradu pomenutog strateškog dokumenta će biti predstavljeni na naredne dvije radionice planirane u mjesecu septembru 2007. godine.

Strategic workshop

The planned strategic workshops will be held on 5^thSeptember, (Wednesday) 2007. – 2^nd workshop and on 11^th September, 2007. (Tuesday) – 3^rd workshop. Participants of strategic workshops will be representatives of all interested parties in the Project.

2nd Workshop

On the 5th of September, NERDA Development Association organized the 2nd workshop in Tuzla, within the CulTuRe Project. At this workshop, the group of stakeholders defined the draft vision of toruism developemnt in Tuzla and it states: Tuzla - the unavoidable tourist destination on the map of South-East Europe, based on preservation of natural and cultural-historical heritage". Besides, the group also identified strategic and priority objectives for the development and promotion of tourism in the city of Tuzla.

3rd Workshop
The third, and the final, workshop within the CultuRe project was held in Tuzla on the 11th of September. Based on the previously identified strategic and priority objectives, the group of tourism stakeholders identified the measures too. This was followed by enlisting of a few project proposals whose implementation will eventually contribute to the achievement of the aforementioned objectives.

Besides the working part of the session, this workshop also included a lecture by prominent professor Besim Spahic, who gave a lecture on the topic "The Image of the City". The group was also addressed by the Mayor of Tuzla, Mr. Jasmin Imamovic, who stressed and confirmed the importance of this project.
